Vail Whitewater Race Seri
The Vail Recreation District partners with Alpine Quest Sports to host the annual Vail Whitewater Race Series. The races will be divided between three categories including kayak (under 9\'6\"), two-person raft and stand up paddle board (SUP) with different course challenges every week. Course Challenge for each event will be determined the day prior based on river flows. Each week, the two round format will consist of an individual time trial with results determining the seeding for the second round, head-to-head race. Lakota Guides will be onsite at each event with rafts available for R2 Teams to use. An after party will also be hosted in Vail Village each week where cash and product prizes will be awarded to the winners of all three categories and all participants and spectators over 21 will receive a free beer courtesy of New Belgium Brewing Company.

Families can come and visit various stations including our Creation Station - a tent filled with creative arts & crafts projects, The Science Tent - featuring Nature\'s Educator\'s, an educational group fostering respect and awareness of Birds of Prey and other animals found in Colroado, Play Town - featuring hula hoops, giant jenga and Connect Four and our Bounce House of Fun. In addition to these stations, we will be conducting several contests and group games throughout the day which may include the \"Water Balloon Toss of Death\", The Blue Moose \"Pizza Toss of Champions\", Hula Hoop Extravaganza and Simon Says.

Each individual concert boasts national-level, award-winning talent and have proven to draw crowds from the Vail region, as well as visiting guests from around the world. To support our headlining talent, we have made it a priority to feature local and regional bands as well. In addition to music at the Arrabelle, the Vail Summer Bluegrass Series has partnered with Eco Products (cup donations) and Rock the Earth in an effort to keep our planet front and center.
